Happy Monday All!
It’s the beginning of the month and time for a new challenge! Rather than have you (and me!) do something different everyday, I wanted this challenge to be something different every week! Check it out below:
Feb. 4th – Feb 10th: Increase the number of hours you sleep.
How can you do this? Try to be in bed 30 minutes early than your normal “bedtime.” That way, you will be in bed earlier, and likely all asleep sooner to add extra sleep time!
Feb. 11th – Feb. 17th: Meal prep one meal this week.
Whether it be lunch or dinner, hit the grocery store Sunday and prep chili, taco salad, or rice, beef, and a veggie to save you time later in the week and keep you on track to consume whole foods!
Feb. 18th – Feb. 24th: Twice this week, do something you normally don’t have time for.
Even if you have to schedule a time to read a book, go for a walk, get your nails done, or head to a movie theatre, make time to do things you love this week!
Feb. 25th – Feb. 28th: Read some labels.
When you are at the grocery store or even eating out for a meal, check the labels and see what you are putting in your body. Make changes if necessary to chose lighter options For example, when choosing sides at a restaurant, spring for the seasoned vegetables versus the mashed potatoes. Or, instead of using milk in your Flat White at Starbucks, opt for almond milk!
